I wanted to really let her rip but was frightened in case I smashed into the computer screen... with the carbon fibre tailboom you lose most of the flashing lights and it's a lot harder to judge things in the dark!

;D ;D ;D Bloody ufo's in the bedroom? That is hilarious, Mike. I must admit, it got me really laughing watching a blue light hover around my screen. My wife asked me what I was looking at and when she saw it, she said I'm nuts. I TOLD HER i WASN'T THE ONE FLYING IT. ;D Ian

Even more insane..... flying from the BED yesterday I propped the camera on a few pillows (hence the slight wobble)... a totally crappy "flight" but the TV as background has given me a few ideas Best viewed in full screen 720p

BTW... the crash at the end was "intended" and the vid ends with someone holding up a "don't panic" sign.... yes, these "themed" flights could get very interesting once I feel comfortable really letting rip in the dark.

Best viewed on a cinema screen!!! I've spilt my tea now..... Ian Hey man.... that's pure Head-Copter, flight and sound in perfect harmony... this is pioneering stuff you are witnessing! It can only get better too, maiden flights (especially in the dark) are always a bit naff and even worse if the camera is running..... I think the little MiniX would look good up against the screen

Actually, I put my MCX2 up in the garden once in the dark. Being a bit of an idiot, I lost sight of it because I sent it too high. Lost in Space.
I tried sending it fast in one direction and still couldn't see a blue moving light.
I rev'd hard and it went up further and suddenly I spotted it. A tree had been hiding it and after giving it a good rev, it floated up into sight from behind the tree.
By that time, it was quite high up and I had quite a job getting it back home again!!
