I love my K501 which I have had for about 6 years, they have been re-cable using dual entry and silver plated OFC as well as terminated into a 4-Pin balanced configuration.

I love K501 as well. One of the best cans I have ever heard actually and I have heard a couple of flagships too.
I would like to make some improvements to X-Can V2, to make a new PSU, change the caps etc. Where can I find some info about the PSU voltages, power supply capacitors and other parts that I can replace in this amp?
Cheers M

I have now Jeez, what would it have taken the bloke to get a toothbrush and clean out all the ingrained dirt / dust..... 10 minutes? Shoving them on the floor without so much as a dusting is not showing them off at their best...... I can tell by looking at them, though, that they're pretty much pristine If you can pick that pair up for a good price you've got a damned good amp and a PSU that can power four X-Series units..... I would have a punt on the amp but don't need the PSU.

Hi,
You need 2.1mm DC plugs fitted to 2 core cable..... how many do you need? I can make you up a cable.
All the best,
Mike.
