Just fyi, and mainly for those who'd just happen to for look for a moderately priced, but good quality cartridge, I thought it might not harm to mention a couple of interesting new old stock offers I've recently seen:
- Empire 500ID for ca. 40 Euro from Hifi Nova on ebay.fr
- Sontra 500EX (alias Excel ES70EX) for 31 quid from Mantra-Audio(co.uk)
Both are MM/MI and moderately high compliance carts and have pretty good elliptical needles.
