A girl I met in Chattanooga in 1988, she worked in a record store, she looked like a punker (I love punk and goth girls), and she did a one-hour segment on the college radio station between 11pm every Saturday night to 6am Sunday morning. She was amazing (and a huge fan of Yello), and one night she had an emotional problem - jilted, crushed, rejected by a cruel and uncaring young man, she spilled much of it on the air. I sent her a letter (no Internet then), telling her that the people (or beings) who sent me had a special fondness for her and her music. To be sure she wouldn't think I was making a move on her, I signed the letter The Unknown Listener, mailed it from a distant location, and did not let anyone know I was involved. Next week she was beside herself wanting the unknown whoever/whatever to call the station. I did not that week, but the week after that I called her program as a nobody, just acting mildly interested in the music, and immediately she exclaimed "Are you the unknown listener?" And so, not wanting to feed her anxiety any longer, I said yes. And while I never became her personal friend, there were many interesting things happened for her in that area over the next months, to the chagrin of the other microphone jockeys there. And there is so much more...

Never underestimate the power of YELLO Dale Nice story mate. There's so much more with me too but it's getting almost "hard work" to recount past days.... there was a time where I took great pleasure in recounting my youth, these days I've come to the conclusion that none of it really matters.

"in limbo" is essentially about an old man who still feels young (and wants to feel some young)....... it's all about young minds in old bodies who don't have a chance in hell of pulling a ripe 17 year old chick. I've been in limbo for the past 38 years

I am SO looking forward to receiving TOY!!!! The word on the Yello Street is it may be their best ever.
Think about it..... Boris didn't have a lot to play with back in the early 80's (just his mind and a few synthesisers)........... TOY will be the DSOTM in the year 2040....
Random Tox.

I've been in limbo for the past 38 years At the age of 64 I was running quarter miles in 60-63 seconds, but not to regain youth. I just did it because I could. Cancer intervened, but that seems to be going away or gone, so maybe I'll run again. I don't have any flexibility limits though. BTW, I was never a jock or athlete - in the military I could barely make 85 seconds in quarter miles. It wasn't until much later that I discovered that popular conceptions about the body's limitations are mostly wrong.

Not a fan of Yello myself but in case anyone isn't aware, I read the special edition of the new CD contains an extra three tracks. People may want to think about changing their pre-orders from the standard to special edition.
