Don't start me on telcos looking at the plans there nothing but a blatant rip off! Cost of 3g data via modem vs data via phone suggests, that at least here in Aus they, the telco's are thieves not to mention the exorbitant cost of phone calls and the miss mash of pricing all they want is to con the punter into a higher spend per month and lock them into a contract. I realise the sheer difference in usage between the average user and business is large but the cost is way too disproportional. To me either the average punter is subsidising big business data/phone costs or it's a simply as I said a blatant rip-off! But still we're sold on the convenience of the service, I hate the telcos with a passion and chose to pay a little more and get prepaid, sure a bit more expensive but NO contract. My main beef with that is for some ripped off fcked up reason a recharge only lasts a month before it expires, no doubt trying to entice the user into a suck full contract. Gets of soapbox and pushes it back into the corner,.. ;D <typo>

Robertkd I have a monthly contract with these muppets till the end of march, one of the problems was that the reception was quite frankly shite, i used to get cut off mid conversation all the time which was frustrating and once walking through liverpool city centre i could not even get a reception. I phoned on a few occasions to complain and was given bullshit excuses i said "if i bought a faulty appliance or given a poor service as a company how would you rectify it as this phone service is not good enough" more bullshit/excuses followed. It also took me 1 hour 20 minutes to cancel the contract as i was getting passed from pillar to post as the receptionists could not speak very good english so this made it more difficult. £20 a month for crap, when my conract ends i will still keep an eye on my bank account to make sure they dont take money out, this shit happens because it,s allowed to happen, the governing bodies that protect consumers is piss weak, so this will carry on because as long as the mp,s etc are ripping the expenses system off and getting their cut they wont give a flying frazzled fck about about regulating these arseholes properly. paddy gets off his soapbox thats collapsed through jumping up and down ranting and raging.

Try O2 simplicity 20, never been anywhere and couldn`t get a signal, £20 a month 1000 texts and 600mins, to anyone on any phone at any time, and good customer service.

That seems a reasonable contract you have there mick, i should have stayed with orange they were well better and i was with them for 7 years before i signed with these muppets 3 years ago. About 10 years ago i was fishing 15 miles off the coast of whitby and my phone rang everyone looked at me in shock that i got a signal that far out, and in contrast i just about get a signal in my area with 3 even though they assure me im,e in a good signal location. paddy
