Danish pigskin rocks..
On an other note I noticed my pads were shrinking so I have given you pads a bit longer in the "wice" just to make sure it stays in shape, so let me use the opportunity to offer some danish pigskins in the packet as well, let me know.

Mike you swine (forgive the pun). Here's me trying desperately to lose the xmas weight, under a certain amount of guilt laden duress from she who must be obeyed, and there's you posting pictures of the single biggest temptation I could have. They look so bloody inviting. Damn you and your practically perfect pre-bedtime porcine pacifiers, I'm going to have to go and masticate some pork of my own in the privacy of my bedroom away from prying eyes and disgusted looks. I can taste their salty, crunchy, melting, divine flavours in my mind as I type. Damn you again Mike, damn you!!!! I feel a Homer Simpson moment taking hold, mmmmmmm pork scratchings. Matt

anything I can get through a damn straw ! (haven't been able to swallow solid food without it choking me since just after thanksgiving and yes liquid all day every damn days sucks my A** ! ) 20 years ago I broke my jaw and had to live through a straw, I had great pleasure of ordinary vanilla-icecream put it in a blender toogether with some berries or fruitsirop or whatever flavour you like, it tastes good and also fills up the stomack, so you are not hungry all day long.. I am not sure that recommending candy for dinner to a very sick man is the best thing.. You can also get some proteindrinks that are used for old people on nursing homes, they taste awfull, but they are loaded with good stuff. Hope this can help you a bit.

I know those proteindrinks taste like crap, they really do..
But I can also tell you that after a couple of weeks you will start like them, at least I ended up almost loving them.
My drinks was from NOVO it was called something with -up in the end, but I can not recall the rest, but it will come to me tomorrow or the day after, that is how my brain works.. I will find it if you want me too.
In fact Icecream is not so unhealthy as you should think, I do not know about the Ice you can get in the US, but having worked in three countries producing icecream, I can safely say that the main ingridiens is milk and if they do not boil the crap out of it, it still retains a lot of the good stuff from milk, if it was possible to send you some danish icecream I would, but that is out of my range.
It is also rich in protein and if you chose the Yougurth version it is easy to digest also..
So send the wife down after ice, just tell her I said so LOOL
Funny thing is when I after 7 weeks got the iron out of my mouth, I rushed down to Mac to get some fries, I really did miss fries, but my jaw had become so weak that I did not have the jawpower to chew a frensh frie, so it was back to liquid food for a couple of days again..

BOT Marmite sandwich, or better still if there is strong cheddar in the house, a cheese and Marmite roll. YUMMMMMMMMM Not so good for the breath though A long time ago I and a mate were on Koh Samui when we met some nice Ausie lasses over breakfast. They had their travelling tub of Vegemite and we had our Marmite. So we took the opportunity to trade toasties. Lets just say, in the interest of temporary international relations, we agreed to disagree

Vegemites? Pork scratching? This is the first time I heard of those things. Thanks guys. I would have never have imagined ...
Only similar thing (weird enough you probably won't know) in Tokyo is salted deep-fried eel spines. You probably can do it with salmon spines. ... The eel specialist ( there is such a job ) swears that it's great for your bones. ... May be he just doesn't like bones lying around his kitchen, though.

Derek, Ryvita! yeah, caked in butter though (don't choose them from the health angle). I even used to nick my mums Ryvitas as a kid. Stuff health/diets, they were made for Marmite Alex, I think Marmite should follow suit on that cheese mix spread, sounds good. Another fave late snack of mine in Weetabix, heavy on the sugar and just enough milk to make the Weetabix moist. I think you may notice that I cannot eat anything healthy without accompanying it with something completely the opposite Edit = the above inspires a new song title...."Dark side of the Spoon"

"BEAVER" The only snack the wife don't mind me eating in bed Wait. You can eat in your bed? I don't think I can do that. Imagine the stain I can get on my sheets, while I snack a "full sized" sandwich with a bag of chips.

And good, thick butter. Or maybe for lunch with a rich (and fatty) chunky pate. I am extreme with coffee - either storng and black with no sugar... or strong with cream and two brown sugars. No in-betweens here! The 'strong, cream and 2 sugars' is the only way I can survive a shopping trip with my otherwise lovely wife. D.

I voted, in the end, for crisps. But remember that's not your 'nancy boy' crisps - it's your big sack of Kettle Chips - Salt and Vinegar definately. The ones that leave your mouth cut to ribbons. Mmmmmm - Kettle Chips.
