I saw this while looking at Monday's specials in Lidls.
That's Lidl's France. It's €49.99 over here. As many know Lidls product range, apart from wine and stuff is the same all over Europe.
I'm seriously thinking of buying one and making a frame/box to hold it (really simple). I might make the frame/box at a bit of an angle.
This type of construction is well known to be good for the circulation and for falling asleep while listening to music.
It could be that this has come and gone in the UK - just check out online.

Sorry, www.lidl.fr - do you not have automatic English translation, if not look at the top for Lundi/Vendredi - it's Lundi you want and the specials.

I can't understand why you are both having trouble finding what I am talking about.
Google lidl.fr - up comes the home page. there you have two boxes lundi & juedi.
click the lundi box which gives you the specials - scroll down and there in the bottom left hand corner is the Ottoman convertable - then get back and tell me what you think

Stuart, did you mean this (last piccy, bottom left) www.lidl.fr/cps/rde/xchg//lidl_fr/hs.xsl/offerdate.htm?(You do need a post code the first time eg central Paris = 95001.) If so, that ain't no ottaman bed! (It's a free form pouf) This is an ottaman bed... images.furniture123.co.uk/F123images/Catalogue//lrg/DRE001/fol056512-large.jpgAlthough Lidl has similar offers around Europe, they are not the same. Visit the German site for an eye opener! I remember posting that Spanish Lidl had a cheap drill press available but no one else could find them. Seems it's country sensitive, all the crap ends up in Spain, the home of the worst product/service for the highest price ;D All the best stuff stays in Germany, Das ist für sicher!

I never got to Luc Primaube today, otherwise I would have added a - it's crap or it's good comment.
If it is good then a wonderful way to listen via cans and with your feet up.
Chris I have found that in Spain and France the specials are the same but food wise France is way better.
As you will know meat is not a part of the Spanish ones but is normally a franchise inside the store, though that has been finished in Lidls/Guadix for over a year now.
I bought a brilliant m/cycling jacket that is superbly made and is definately 100% w/proof @ €49.95 ditto the boots.
The tools are excellant value and the little table clamp vices are indispensible in my cable building, I'd rec. those to anyone. Likewise a small table clamping magnifying glass on a bendy stem and both dirt cheap.
Also I don't find much difference in prices - don't forget transport costs. How Lidls manage to sell the Finkbrau (better than any Spanish beer by a mile) for 24c a can if you buy it in northern France or southern Spain for the same price but a difference in K of maybe 2000 - I just dont know.
We buy trays of the stuff. The cheapest French beer is at least 50c more per can more expensive that's €12 per tray saved. So as we buy at least 3 trays (this may change now we have taken the pledge) at a time that's a saving of €36 and I forgot to add they sell frozen New Zealand lamb for €6.95 per kilo and it beats the crap out of Andalucian lamb for taste, quantity of meat on the leg and price. We reckon to save at least €60 per visit - this I like.
