Its a bit like wining the lottery, only instead of the cash, you get a punch in the face and a pint of earl grey.

Which just goes to show that only 3 out of 7 girls know how to operate a pair of sunglasses.

Tannoy: "Ladies.. thanks again for assisting with the Final Design Phase of the latest addition to our headphone stable... the exciting Supalux RG1 Special Edition! The Rock Grotto Judges have arrived and will now proceed to sit and feel the seven different fabrics against their ears, obviously for enough time as deemed necessary to simulate the real world extended listening these guys are capable of, so.... prepare for a long night. Naturally, the chosen winning fabric will adorn the ear pads of the RG1 SE."

UPDATE! The prize has just got better! Forum member heliharris (Mick) has customised the HD-681 with classy looking aluminium rings which not only make them look better, it also improves the SQ according to Mick. Mick was responsible for producing the aluminium bodies for the Nagoaka range of Moving magnet Cartridges (Stilton Nagoaka range) so he knows a thing or two about aluminium and it's uses in audio! Mick has fitted the rings himself so the competition HD-681 can be classed as a TRULY unique pair.... I've heard them and, yes, I agree with Mick, they do sound better than stock.... the large aluminium rings playing a part in housing dampening. I'm, unofficially, renaming the prize to HH-681 (standing for heliharris 681)..... these are set to become a VERY desirable pair of 'phones and a truly limited edition. Here's what they look like:
