Hi everyone I have just about finished the power supply, Its in the final test stage before placing into and enclosure. The Voltages I get are -14.77 and +15.06, a variance of .29 volts. This was measured at the output of the JLH as well as the output of the Power supply board before the JLH, Do I need to get the voltages closer?

Hi Peter No, they are close enough. All voltage regulators have an output voltage tolerance. For that matter, so does the reading from your Digital meter ! If you are really fussy, and it is an adjustable regulator such as the LM317/LM337, you can always increase the voltage a little by tacking a much higher value resistor in parallel with the smaller voltage setting resistor.(e.g. 100 times higher) In the case of the SC dual regulated supply, across the 100 ohm resistor. Conversely, if the voltage was a little too high, you could do this across the 1.1K . Alex

Hi Peter, As Alex said. However, don't be surprised if you start to want to match to mV levels.... ;D One of the first signs of "The Disease"....

Thanks guys, Unfortunately I am one of those people that likes things to be as close as possible, I will try to resist the temptation.
