Our mind is programmed in our youth. My music preference was partly shaped by my father. He liked en listened to the Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix and such. With the rest of the band........ I used to be able to play the closing electronic solo by memory, note for note. Since then I haven't so much lost memory as I've gotten it filled with much useless crap. |

Their best ever IMO..... back in the day this blew me away when I heard it...... no accompanying "video" just the LP cover and your imagination....... This took me on a magical journey when I was a kid with only closed eyes and my imagination available to me.... it STILL takes me on a journey to this day and reminds me what GOOD music really means.

One of the best Dutch bands I have seen live were Focus....... I cannot believe they are now playing pubs?
Thijs Van Leer was such an influential musician and a really nice guy..... I met the drummer in Wales a few years back and can't remember his full name..... I think his first name was Pierre?
What a band!
His drum solo was pretty mind blowing.
Are they still gigging?
