Is anyone in the UK using a Zerosurge or Brickwall surge protector ?
I've asked zerosurge and they say they can fit one out for 240v, (though with the standard US plug type and receptacles,) if anyone in the UK is using one of these I'd be greatful for some feedback on your experiences.
thanks

not yet, I going to wait until my amp arrives before ordering the surge protector. It looks like furman have a new range so waiting for these to become available is also going to be easier on the eye www.furmansound.com/product.php?div=03&id=PL-8CE

Well I finally have one got it from www.thomann.de/gb/furman_pl8e.htmstraight out of the box (and with a plug change to my amps' power cable) it gave increased width, less crowded soundstage and much more easily audible left and right stage whereas previously only the centre was present. 50+ hours: huge improvement, much lower noise floor and the sound is getting more coherent as it continues settling in. I have both my amp and mini-dac connected to the furman PL-8E II. all other components in the rig have several hundred hours on them and have long ago passed burn-in. n.b. while the picture on the thomann website shows a unit with a big blue 'furman' lettered on the face plate the unit that arrived with me is devoid of this and imo looks the better for it. The thomann products come with a 2-pin euro plug so I am using it with a travel adaptor.
