Hi, what closed headphone sounds like the Sennheiser HD600 (650).
I know about the "half" closed Beier DT880, Sony ... 3000 ......
and some from AudioTechnika - but I did not know which model?
AT ... 1000?
It should be the "best price" between 200 .... 500 $ (or €).
Gives an Audio Technika dealer in Europe?

Not wanting to sound pessimistic, but I think you're going to have a job finding closed headphones that sound like the HD600. Half the reason they sound the way they do is because they are open backed. If you place your hands over the grilles while listening to HD600s, they sound completely different - they lose a lot of the airiness/openness that they are famous for.
Are you after closed headphones because you are listening in a noisy environment or to avoid annoying people sharing a quiet room with you? You could consider something open-backed with active noise-cancellation circuitry if it is the former.

finding closed cans that sound good is a real pain but the old Sony V6 is a gem with the modern 7506 being identical. Not sennheiser sounding but still nice

if you don't mind shallow pads (it's better that your ears not stick out) get some ultrasone proline 650. they're well liked by meier-audio.de i think they go for about $230 US.
i'm loving my old model proline dj-1's... cept for the shallow pads. they have wonderfully balanced, deep and powerful bass, great high, great detail, and i'm guessing the mids are nice as well because i'm not feeling as though anything's lacking... and violins are amazing on them IMO... try the track "time's scar" on the chrono cross OST. (cdjapan has it. google them)
i really think the 650's coupled with some nitrogen interconnects, a good amp, and a cambridge 640c cd player would be amazing.
