I'm leaving HeadFi because of the Nazi puke liberal moderators! I get fatigue with little people that hide behind a computer screen and play big man.

I'm cool with it! I really cant find much use for headfi anyway because its like most other forums, ie same questions over and over. I'm also tierd of doing mods! once in a while its fun but lately I've been getting over 5 per week! To much like work now, so forget it!. Also I've been 110% happy with my HD650/X-CanV3 setup  |

I actually like &!?^-%!, been there quite a while and have learned to live with rules. Been banned a few times too, just part and parcel of being a big mouth and there was never once when I was banned for no reason. It was always down to my own big mouth Generally I find the mods there do a great job considering the huge 40,000 plus membership and if you abide by the rules of the house then there really is no hassle... if you want to rewrite the rule books fair enough but don't complain when you get a slap on the face  And...... take that slap on the face like a man if you're in the wrong, no point in whimpering.... admit you were wrong, do your time in the sin bin and re-enter the arena fresh and raring to go! No point sulking in the corner, get back in and continue where you left off. I know how it feels being banned but you must be positive and look at it as a short break and not the end of the world. |

This one moderator prick was screwing with me and I just dont need HeadFi. I'm pleased with my gear and will most likely will use it for many years to come.
I've had dozens of post removed! Most for no good reason! And yesterday the prick changed my profile, removing the line that offered mods. I dont need to deal with petty moderators of HeadFi!

more than once mike once to save you from yourself must have pissed someone off pretty good,caught a mod on a very bad day (does happen they being only human ) or they are a lot more touchy these days (sponsor protection ? could be wabbit ) There was a time it took a damn lot to get banned and the "lot" usually an accumulative thing rather than a single bad incident though I think now there may be some selectivity involved also considering I am allowed to be openly attacked there and if I fire back it is my ass in a sling while the punk b*tch instigators walk free.This is not an allowed event in any part of my world ! Someone slaps me in the face ? I punch them directly in the head as hard as I can ! Puches me ? I pummel them to the ground then kick them while they are down as hard as i can and often they do that to me ? Better leave the GD country before I heal up or the answer to the Question "what is a Level III response ?" will be answered all over your ass The message in the real world where punches to the head actually hurt is "leave me the fk alone or deal with the consequences".As it should be and why there is far more respect shown between men in the real world than there is these punk babies online. Not because I was banned,I fully expected and fully deserved it and knew it was likely as I hit "send response" but because the piece of shit instigator didn't get so much as a tap on the wrist,something that spoke way louder than any "Why don't you just leave rick and while your at it throw yourself off a cliff so we don't have tp deal you you fkn prick" which is exactly what the action said to me in so many words."Go away mad or not just go" so i did and no looking back dude  I don't miss it either.Not even a little (ask mike,he tried to get me to kiss and make up for months and months and months and ) I miss a couple of the more intelligent/smart ass/word smith type members becaue they always had a post worth reading and even when they called you out did it in such a way it had to be respected but the rest of it ? The "member lounge" campers who post maybe 0.00001% of their inflated post counts on matters having to do with the reason for the site ? Nope. missed the post mike but the above stands dude.I will not ever intentionally put myself in a bad position and that is one of the worst.The first post would draw personal crap and if,OK WHEN I retaliated in kind would myself be the one getting the spankin' while the other prick would get a free pass for the throwing darts and that just will not be allowed. evidence ? After a few months of ZERO ontact actually had the stupid notion I wanted to maybe ease in a bit again so answered a members question in what i thought was a very helpful anner when out of the blue having ZERO to do with anything other than this person seen my name at the end of the thread was verbally assaulted which bu my remembering of the TOU broke at least two golden rules 1-do not post off topic 2-personal attacks will not be tolerated yet when I seen that it was apparent the insults would be allowed to remain unchallenged and decided to retaliate in kind on my own (I DID give them a chance to do the right thing.....) found my response deleted and the roginal insult that my post was in response to still there for the viewing pleasure of all in full unchallenged glory ! Seeing this posted a sarcastic "Nice moderating job guys.You remove the response to the attack but not the attack " was pretty much told to deal with it,that i should expect to be attacked because i made a lot of enemies (doing the job i signed on to do i might add but was left in the breeze on that one too),that I was a lightening rod because i have strong opinions and never back down (no mention made of the ACTUAL FKN TOU rules broken during all this shit I was supposed to take with a GD smile on my face !Rules openly broken yet zero penalty for the rules breaker unless it was me !),so I did...by tasking my ass outta there so nope.Let it go dude............ definately no future there man............  |

You opinion is still valid,valued by many mebers there and allowed you just can't push the product bashing side if it is in direct line of sight to your services. All in all the higher profile may in the end be beneficial Mike plus you know my personal feelings about fair play and all.A level playing field allows the partcipants to win or lose on the merits so it is only the slanted to one side crap that gets my panties in a knot as anyone who was in my sights as a moderator at headfi knows all too well Not taking sides against you Mike,even if you were dead wrong on something I would take the hit for you 'cause that is how i am,just filling in some blanks dude from my experience in that area |

yeh yeh, good point but I'm not there to waffle on about any mods / have my mods legitimised. I'm there as I always have been as an impartial free agent without an agenda.... this silly "Member of the trade" sticker will render me almost silent for should I say I like a particular amp there will be cries of "he must have his finger in the pie".... should I say I don't like an amp..... you get the picture I just hate being labeled as something I am not by people who always assume there's an ulterior motive behind everything, when will they realise it's guys like me with a passion in this field that actually help make these forums what they are (ie: packed with FREE content) as I say, it's most insulting indeed when someone insinuates you're just in it for financial gain.... there's more to life than bloody money and some of us enjoy sharing ideas with others FOR FREE (or should I say "used" to enjoy) Nobody is taken at face value and trust and honesty counts for nothing, you're always looked upon in pounds shillings and pence.... No shot unless you give them a ladder rung,a step up to the next level that presently is being dismantled (and no accident BTW-Headed for a Ruling Class/slave Class type society though it will not be called such ) Then what ? Higher prices is what to make up in indiviudal sales what was lost in volume so full circle but NOW the middle classes will be in the coutries previously considered "cheap labor" (and are currently where we as a nation are headed but we are going the wrong damn way !) will be the new middle class ao the entire focus will shift away from the parent companies original country to totally offshore based in all phases. business is heartless but does have easily recognizable trends that most in their "me me me" never see until it is their own ass taking the hit instead of the "other guy".Another marvel of the new millenium-love of self,screw everyone else ;D sermonette done |

I believe I was researching the MF X-CAN V3 as a potentila purchase. .and up came a post on the forum. I've been here (mostly lurking) ever since.
ps I once wandered over the HeadFi .. and when I found 4 posters all with an entirely different answer, I knew the internerds had landed.
Motorcycling .. one of my other passions has exactly the same dilema with forums adminsitered by overly zealous doo goody toss pots ... bring back the emai lmailing lists - what's wrong wit ha jolly good flame war every now and then.
Anyhow .. right off to drop you a mail ... in case it does reach you. I'll have a X-CAN V3 *and* X-10 V3 kits please.
