I actually ordered and built this kit preamp www.swtpc.com/mholley/RadioElectronics/Dec1972/RE_Dec1972.htmwhich at the time I thought was pretty cool becauase of the push button tone controls and plug in discrete Op-Amp modules.The layout was also a marvel for the time and consisted of the two main boards,the plug in modules and the Tape Monitor/Loudness board with the only wires on the last board Later I came to hate the layout and the switching due to pcb flex from using the on board RCA jacks and the totally inadequate PB Switches causing intermittant contact so i ended up canibalising the opamp modules and using them in another line stage (have no clue where they are now ) all in all cool for 1972,was good practice for later years and the modules really were nice units
