I'm throwing this out into the open.
I have a couple of Cyrus One Amps. One - which was the last present my sister bought me - is a worker but it sits there for memories sake. The second is 'working' unit but I've broken it.
I have made a lot (and I mean a lot) of changes to the amp. It has sounded very good. I am happy to write up what I have done and it may help me get it fixed. It may also help anyone with a unit in their attic.
Is anyone interested ?
These are great amps to own and work on with one shortcoming - they have no protection circuits and thus are easy to 'blow' - and i don't mean in an Amsterdam lady of the night way.
No problems if nobody's interested but you may get a review of the Anatek MB50 monoblocks and passive preamp I've bought to replace it !!!!! - But don't really want to use.

Fixed it - though there is a dry joint somewhere on the 'left channel' which a little tap on the box sorts but will result in the lid coming off at some point in the future.
I have bought a preamp from Excellence Audio which i will comment upon in due course. I need to relocate the turntable.
