Hi Friedrich,
Looking good mate! Nice to the the MKll WNA once again, they bring back great memories! I have a WNA MKlll for sale but one of the rail splitter sections needs a bit of re-tracking as a few pads were lifted etc. If you're interested I can send you photos.
Mike.

Instead of comparing these modules with modules DEXA Discrete Audio Op-Amp Special Edition? The point made by a C.A. member was that you guys must like a little colouration if you believe that any of these modules can come close to, let alone outperforming a well implemented LME49710HA (metal can) solution, for example, with a very good power supply and proper supply rail bypassing. Here are a few of it's specifications : 0.00003% distortion Input noise 2.5nV/Hz Slew rate +-20V/uS Gain Bandwidth Product 55mHz. I use a combination of OPA134 and LME49710HA opamps in my DIY DAC with JLH PSU add-ons for a way better than average power supply to both digital and analogue areas, and it recently easily outperformed a friend's expensive (Au.$11,900) Bricasti M1 DAC that itself was already WAY above average in performance.

And where you can read about the DIY DAC?

zag18 If you have an chance please test some discrete OPAs as Burson Supreme Sound Opamp V5 (single or dual) too. I'll try to collect amplifiers, where there is no chip operational amplifiers (and, hence, do not need such an assembly, as in Burson Supreme Sound Opamp V5), and everything is based on discrete elements, in this my amplifier based Beta22. I have a similar approach as you will see in the photo from the RG thread linked to here. Incidentally, it looks like an Aussie member from Computer Audiophile forum is about to construct another one of these. rockgrotto.proboards.com/thread/10638/reviving-ak-class-preamp-build?page=1
