I have an Asus Zenbook I was using for sorting my photo's out whilst on the move , since updating from win8 to win10 I noticed the screen looks awful , photo's and video's look way too bright , highlights look far too blown out. Anybody else had this problem or anything similar ? I went to a Macbook pro with Retina display and in all honesty the image quality just blows the Asus away . The Asus did used to be pretty decent though before Win 10 so not sure whats happened . I've tried altering some of the windows display adjustments but highlights still look overly blown out

Cheers, seems strange things look worse since installing win10 ,might be tempted to do a fresh install of win7 or might try putting windows on the mac as a second operating system.

Possibly a driver issue. See if there is a Win10 update for your graphics card. If not I found the following;

Thanks guys, I'll give that a try. I was speaking to somebody else and they had a similar problem after the win10 update , everything works OK it just seems the brightness is cranked too high. It makes every photo look over exposed with blown out highlights
