It will be interesting to see if it lives up to the hype about it's USB input, as even most expensive DACs when using USB inputs, benefit greatly from the use of expensive USB cables with improved separation between Data and power wires, as well as further improving when a USB Regen such as from UpTone Audio is used. Even then, the Regen sounds better when powered by much improved power than the supplied +7.5V SMPS plugpack, and what sounds great in one system when the Regen power is much improved, may still result in softening of detail and lesser SQ in a similar system.
The USB input of my Oppo 103. as an example, markedly improves when using a USB cable where the +5V from the PC is disconnected at the PC's USB-A plug and an external JLH +5V Linear PSU is used. This is used when playing music and music videos on USB memory sticks via the USB input of the Oppo 103. I use a dedicated +5V JLH PSU for this purpose that sits on top of the Oppo 103.

Wouldn't it be cool if the centre window could be switched to a VU-meter display? This amp looks great - I'd like to have it like a hot dirty weekend with Rebekah Brooks.

JitterBug anyone? Not all C.A. members who have tried a Jitterbug have obtained improvements. Some report a softening of HF detail and dynamics. If a good internal Linear PSU was used there would be no advantage to plugging in a Jitterbug to another non used USB port.

Hi Mike, 3 months on do you have any thoughts on this wee wah beastie yet! Is it out of the box? Did it arrive in one piece? Have you worked out where the headphone plug goes
