Afternoon All,
I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue, so I thought I would see what solutions others have come up with.
I currently have three headphone amps that I use in the same room. How should I connect them up?
I have the following: X-can V2 (Pinky tweeked) GS Solo Bravo ebay thing
Now do I plug/unplug each one depending on what I wasn't to listen to /use?
Do I daisy chain them together using the in/out sockets on the back, with the bravo being the last one.
Do I try and find/make a line switching box giving me 1 in and 4 out (room for expansion)?
Im just wondering if connecting them all together will give a strange load to the current pre amp, if the capacitance of three phono cables and the amps will cause any issue?
Any help welcome!

I guess you could, in theory at least, daisey chain the amps but it's not something I'd want to do. The preference would definitely be for a tape loop switcher from the likes of QED (discontinued) etc.

cj,
I think you may be right. shame I can get a digital switcher but not a phono one!
will have to find some time and a soldering iron I guess.
mainly using my x-can v2 anyways now, though it would always be nice to have a choice!

Keep an eye out for the Niles TSB-3 unit. Two sold recently on USA €bay for approx. $40. I have one of their speaker and amp switches (four sets of speakers switchable and with independant volume controls plus switching for two amps) which is very well built and will probably outlast me!
