This is driving me nuts and I cannot find a solution (or even the same problem) on the web. When I send a file via bluetooth from my Android phone to my Win8.1 PC; Everything is recognised and connects just fine BUT the PC informs me that "Bluetooth Device "yadda yadda" is connected to the "PIM item transfer" service on this computer"
It then proceeds to save the file in a daft location without asking for where I'd like it to be (although it does tell me where it has put it). Q) How does one change where the BT transfered file is saved? (hoping there are some win8.1 warriors on here with answers )

Hi cj...I put in a query on line and there are similar questions/problems and a blog on Microsoft website talked about it. I bought a Nokia 520 "pay as you go" phone with Win 8 on it and then a Win 8.1 laptop so I'm digging around for some info for connectivity issues. None of them like the one you have. There seems to be a driver issue with your concerns. Put in a query on Google or whatever search engine you use. Good luck cj. j
