I am awaiting contact with Mr slee concerning a Green solo headphone amp which costs £250. To be honest I have not been billed for the amp and of yet have no idea when the amp will be ready. I read on the forums that Mr slee is overworked and many people are telling him to slow down or stop working totally, I am beginning to feel like its a crime to order an amp from Mr slee. It took me 2 weeks to actually make contact and I am growing ever more inpatient for a headphone amp especially after selling my heed canamp. I want a Graham slee amp of some kind and have found this amp on ebay which comes with free postage at a price of £333.49. It's about £75 more that the Green solo, is this amp better than the Green solo or at least on par with it. I need your feedback concerning this amp in comparision to the Green solo. Thank-you. it is lesser than the 2008 green solo
that is the solo with a cheap power supply
the model with the dedicated PSU1 is 450 pounds if i remember correctly, and that is more even with the 2008 green solo, so at 250 pounds the green solo really is a bargain

SUGGESTION BOX:
What you do is send your message, just like the instructions say, then send the paypal payment, which is not actually drawn down until GS ships, then you wait again in patience without communication all this time.
Maybe a week, maybe a bit longer. "All this time will be silence".
Then one day soon without warning your Green Solo will arrive, and STILL best you keep quiet for AT LEAST THREE HUNDRED HOURS with the Green Solo left on 24/7. (listening from time to time just to check on progress - I know I did...) After that, all anger and worries will disappear and you will be far too busy rediscovering your music library to bother with negative waves.....
You can flame away anytime if you wish to - I'm listening to my Green Solo right now, and I'm wearing my asbestos suit.
This device is BRILLIANT - miss it at your own peril, I do promise you that you will regret it if you miss it out of impatience or frustration.

Spot on Bozzy for a comparison, people here (in Aust) ordered Yamamoto headphone amplifiers in May and paid $AUD500 deposit then waited 13 weeks for delivery, with only 2 email updates in that period. for you louis, given your circumstances, I would recommend that you buy that one, then you will have something to listen to while you save up the extra GBP163 + shipping for the PSU1 which will make it nearly as good.

You could always phone Graham and leave a message on his answering machine "I want an amp and I want it NOW! Get back to me immediately!" No, seriously, do what the man above suggested..... Send payment via Paypal and PM Graham "Money sent for amp" etc. It will arrive, have no doubts about that
