I think those that have such meter(s) are using the PEAK ELECTRONIC DESIGN - LCR-40 and PEAK ELECTRONIC DESIGN - DCA55T. I found this beasty on ebay and wondered if it seemed up to the job?

Hi Chris, what are the specs? I believe that peak analyzers can also measure parasitic values (ESR, Q factor,...). Can this beasty do that too?

Hi Marc,
No, it's only L/C/R, the specs are in the link.

Chris, forget about the LCR and get the Peak. It's the best I have used after having used many from Fluke to Sanwa to some China made at the former PCBA plant I had worked and at home.
Thanks Mike for the good recommendation and I'm now the proud owner of the Peak DCA55 and ESR70
