Hi Folks, anyone know anything about the CCM3 from Canford? Whats inside component wise? Pre amp circuitry, op amps used, eq quality etc..and basically is it any good.? From what I'm told each of the 6 ch boasts 80dB of gain, so by cunning deduction I'm guessing the noise floor must be respectable.
someone just proposed to sell me one quite cheap here in france and I cant find anything about it. Other than a photo I know very little. I drew a blank on the Canford web site too, so I'm guessing its discontinued. I stumbled on the forum here and people seemed to know a lot about the Canford headphone amps, so i'm hoping someone will know about this too. ( or just possibly will have designed it ;-)
many thanks

Hi there Did anyone find out about the Canford CCM3 mixer.
I've had dialogue with the Canford 'chatline' and they're about as much use as a chocolate teapot! I assume that they bought it in and rebadged it under their own name.
Does anyone know if it has 48v phantom on the mics?
How many pairs of outputs does it have?
Many thanks
Jerry

Each channel features a switchable mic/line input with phantom power, gain with peak LED, 3 band fixed eq (very smooth sounding), 2 aux sends, a pan control and a pre-fade listen switch.
There is also an insert on each channel and left and right group inserts. The aux returns are stereo.
There is a test tone oscillator and the master output has left and right LED bar meters and is switchable mono/stereo. The master outputs are on balanced XLRs.
