I rode in the back of one the other day, very roomy. Small cars seem to be a lot bigger these days. The other day I was walking along and saw a MK1 BMW 3 Series Touring parked between a Nissan Micra and a Peugot something or other and it looked tiny in comparison, the micra's roof was a good foot or so higher.

Nice looking car Mike!
Many years ago, I worked as a Factory Engineer in the factory that made the wheel trims and front grill cluster (including the chrome work) for your Micra. They also made painted plastic parts for many other car manufacturers , from the value end of the market right through to the top end, where people are spending 6 figure sums on a car.
What really impressed me about Nissan is that they insisted on (and got) the very highest levels of quality on the parts going on their cars. Defects that would have been accepted on a jag would not be accepted on a micra! It's because of this that I'd always consider buying a nissan when spending my own money.

I think that was true of the K10 / K11 Will but the K12 has the flag of "France" all over it and has quite a lot of French parts which aren't the best of quality... the genuine Japanese made Nissan is still very high on quality though
