ooooh er ..... after about a minute of that, I run out of places and things to do. Then my concentration goes then ...... land quick!!! That V2 goes doesn't it? It very fast. If I did that with the MSRx, it would skate all over the place before it smacked the wall. TBH, the V2 has replaced the old MSR as the one to progress to. It's quick and very stable to fly. Nice vid. Hiccough..... Mike, I'm looking for a site that gives the stick movements for loops, rolls, the tornado movement and inverted flight. I can't find anywhere that basically tells you what stick movements to do to get them. I've nearly got my MSRx to do half of a loop before I bottle out. Basically, full throttle forwards and as soon as it hits it's (probably) fastest speed, go slightly backwards on the aileron. The nose goes positively up in the air and the heli rises nose first until it stalls and I turn it to come down and return to fast forward.

Ian, that's the red one (your old one) and it's set on the slower balls for indoor flight... I've taken a vid of the yellow one "indoors" and it positively BLASTS around the room! Just a case of waiting THREE hours for it to upload to youtube It crashes into the wall at the end (my thumb literally slipped off of the stick / I HATE that transmitter) but you will see the down draught it causes... I was whizzing it over one of the fibre optic light things.... Mr. Yellow is FAST but pretty hard to let her rip indoors without smashing into something She was out a couple of weeks ago (outside) and, JESUS, she can cover some ground outdoors. Next in the queue is the MCX2 (for your Blade thread) but Yellow V2 should be up tomorrow sometime. I love flying them to music, it's more of a "freeform" jam type of thing... no set moves just fly to the groove.... you probably notice that when I crash it's during a solo (I get too excited!)... also, you want the solo to be something special (be it sheer speed, a pirouette, a combo move or even a spectacular CRASH!).... flying without music I find quite a stale experience.... sod's friggin' law though, as soon as the camera is rolling something goes wrong I'm not aware of any acrobatic type of site either Ian, I suppose one must exist though? I just move the sticks like a monkey and generally steer the thing around the room.... Sam is always going on about the technical aspects of it all but it's in one ear out the other with me, I just fly it and try not to crash. You'll see (in my soon to be uploaded MCX2 vid) that it is now going like a rocket.... I took it into the bike shop the other day and asked Sam to have a look at it (it's always been slow) within seconds he said "I can see what the problem is!" Turns out the links on the balls had been pushed right over the balls (ie: snapped over them) apparantly they are only supposed to "sit" on them.... he pulled them off, reseated them and, HOLY TUNA!, it went off like a rocket... I actually smacked it into a bike!! I would never have thought to look for that but he knows them inside out.... he stripped my Honey Bee to the bone and it's never flown so well.... toilet bowl effect? what's that? Is that when you fly into a toilet? Seriously, I just like flying them.

I reckon I can almost get a loop from the MSRx. Once it points upwards, then forward throttle fast and she'll go up with a bit of luck. Since it won't go inverted because it's FP, then I'd have to twist it round to straight again.
I may try it one day in the park where there is a big open area without trees. It needs a big space to build up speed.
You are really steaming the V2 now. It may go up vertically - not sure with the flybar. The MSRx will go vertical I reckon. It certainly has the speed and once it is vertical, I wonder whether I can continue to push it forwards (or upwards)
You know Mike, you should work the MSRx - you're definitely up to it and it has a lot more mobility and speed.
I must admit, I'm tempted by your Honey Bee CP but those bloody transmitters!!! I'd really like a programmable to get the negative pitch under control, now I understand a lot more about it with the MCPx.
Don't you feel the need to push on? I do. I've got to the point where I'm controlling the little ones - even the MCPx and I'm only left with a size upgrade with cp.
I guess the Honey Bee is the biggie for you.

No. I'm happy being able to fly what I have.... I enjoy them. I have no urge or desire to do anything other than be content with what I have now.
Mike.
