Sounds straightforward and delicious. Unfortunately I have to live in a curry-free environment :-( Will pass this on to sons who are not underprivileged in this way.

Derek Derek, why can't you eat curries? I am 100% confident your sons will love this recipe it's one of my favourites - so easy to make with plenty of flavour and the chilie chips make a refreshing change from rice & popadums. I think I will be having this for my tea tomorrow - with a cold Tiger Beer

I think I will be having this for my tea tomorrow - with a cold Tiger Beer We are curry-intolerant because my wife really dislikes this style of cooking. It's not the heat; she's not afraid of chilis or ginger at all. And tonight I will be cooking what should be a very firey chili. :-) No, it's not the heat, it's the flavours and the aromas of ingrediants like corriander, cumin, tumeric that she doesn't enjoy, so I don't bother. Even cooking separate meals wouldn't solve this one because of the cooking smells in the house from the hot spices. I get the occasional curry fix while visiting my sons... so all is not lost. Derek

Derek Derek, I am the same with Chinese cooking - my wife does not like them so we never eat them. I must admit though I like a really good hot Chilli. At least you can get a fix next time you are at your sons house, make sure to tell them only to use fresh Coriander, Spinach and Mint leaves - if you use dried or powdered it completely ruins it.
