Hi natospec good to hear you will not be selling them. however if you ever want to use them the 7 pin valve bases can be had from Langrex Supplies as can the top cap. i have some signals equipment from my father in law (Morse sender and wireless stuff. I've cleaned it all up and have it in a display case. it's great to be reminded. take care

I still have quite a few jan vt136's laying around. Will never use them but at the same time can never part with them lol. Same as the rest of my collection. At one time I sold off a huge portion of my collection thinking "what will I ever do with all these" but now... I want them all back I guess that is a part of the appeal of tube amplifiers to me besides certain sonic characteristics I like... The connection to that era, like a time capsule sealed up in a little glass bulb that emits a warm glow that lifts spirits and makes one smile. Sorry my solid state friends... Dealing with tubes feels like your dealing with a soul rather than a piece of equipment Weird as it may sound.

A bottle of > 12 year old Scotch Whisky can do that too. Incidentally, I once had a taste of >100 year old Scotch from a bottle that was recovered from a shipwreck in Sydney Harbour. It sure did give a warm glow as it went down !

You drank something out of Sydney Harbor? You were glowing from other reasons not related to scotch lol
