Recently bought some velour earpads from Frans, and also the HD681 filter parts a good while back.
All delivered in good order, and quickly.
Thanks, Frans!

Hi Guys, I'm sure all regulars here will agree that Frans needs another vote of thanks like he needs a hole in the head, but he's going to get one anyway (vote of thanks that is ). I've just bought some headphones from him and had my G2 mod'd and I cannot thank him enough - as is normal, the standard of workmanship is superb and the results are similar. And the trouble Frans went to to keep the return P&P costs to an absolute minimum were exceptional (and successful ). And the prices charged even put a smile o the face of a tight old Yorkshire pensioner - what more could anyone ask? And while I'm at it, my grateful thanks to Mick (helliharris) also for the base plate which made the G2 upgrade possible - also much appreciated, so thanks guys. Dave.

Hope I'm not boring anybody but here's another big 'thumbs up' for Frans. He patiently and gently walked numptie me through swapping an 'iffy' 12v valve in my G2 for a much better 6v one supplied by Mike (thanks Mike ). A big improvement, so "Many Thanks" . Dave.

Like to add my thanks to Frans for helping me sort this sansui amp out. I got a bit confused with putting a 2 pin cap were a 3 legged cap went and put it in the wrong way Anyway i blew 2 fuses and 2 diodes inside the amp,, and frans emailed me each step to follow to rectify the fault and hey presto the amp is 100% working now and sound even better with a 35 elna cap recap It was spooky the way frans knew what was going on and was like he was looking over my shoulder every step Many thanks frans for the help paddy

I too want to thank Frans for being such a great guy. Not only he answers quickly and with deep knowledge the many questions I ask him but he bought for me a Superlux HD681B with the AKG velour pads, replaced the original pads added the filter and sent them to me perfectly packaged and very quickly. I'm still burning them in and getting used to their very different to my AKGs (501 & 601) sound. I'm looking forward to participate in his HPA project which I'm sure is going to be a fantastic piece of kit. Javier

Last year, Frans made a filter for me to take down the treble on my HD681b. Being a bit of an arse, I lost the filter in a house move and Frans very kindly made me another one.
This one is even better. It has a stronger effect than the first and boy, do the 681b's sound good now.
Beautiful workmanship and does the job brilliantly.
Many thanks Frans.

Would like to thank Frans for his Indeed G2 Tweaking Guide...it has helped a lot to understand better audio circuits. I successfully accomplished my first DIY project, and it was this guide the one which encouraged me to do it. Now I also have a CD player on the bench waiting for parts upgrade...you rock!
