How do you assemble your burgers? From bottom up, in order of assembly I do...
Bun
Ketchup Burger (Mustard sometimes, depends how I feel) Onion Cheese (blow-torch melted) Tomato Lettuce Mayo (Hellmans or home-made only)
Bun
Put the dill pickle in the bin.
No where did those audio threads go......

When mixing the meat to make the meat paties add: 1 - Egg 1/2 - Chopped Onion 1- Slice White Bread (rip up into small pieces) 2 tbsp - Worcestershire Sauce 1 tbsp - BBQ Sauce
Make sure to mix this all together in a bowl.
This mix makes very tangy/savory burgers and does taste very good IMO. My own concoction....

Found this photograph of burger preparation. It was Spring last year and we were having our kitchen re-furbished.... at this point about half of the kitchen had been installed so this was the first meal we managed to prepare in there. A couple more pics in the new thread "Show us what you look like in the kitchen'" There are so many good recipes for the actual burger bit - using egg, breadcrumbs, onion and so on but I favour keeping it simple; just pure minced beef, shaped and cooked. Sorry guys. Derek

I just had my evening meal, now I am hungry again !!! Alex

Alex Alex, the buns are actually bigger than they appear in the photograph - a perspective effect i think. And the patties always shrink-to-fit ! Mine was the larger of the two patties; my wife hasn't the appetite for meat that I have.. and she always leaves some too which is cool. Derek

Last night I added burger mustard; you know the very mild one, and well grilled bacon. A pile of 'loaded' mushrooms although I left the garlic out as I am in work today... thanks robertkd, and some cheap, but good, South African red. I didn't realise how well chili and mushrooms go together. Ab Fab. Derek

I started quite a popular "upload your dinner" thread over at Head-Fi a few years ago.... do you guys think it would take off here? What you do is take a picture of your dinner every night and, once you've eaten it, upload it here. It's good because it makes you go the extra mile with the presentation and you actually "enjoy" your dinner more knowing the world will be looking at the contents of your plate...... Just an idea

Just an idea Yeah, I'm up for it. And if it fails well we'll stop doing it won't we? My wife will then know beyond doubt I am nuts - but what the hell. Tonight is going to be home-made pizza; not quite home-made as I have bought ready-made bases as I'm at work until late. D.

@ Derek So do I set one or two more places Although I should have let the roast stand for another 10 or so Oh by the way dam you (in a nice sort of way) next shopping trip I'm buying the chocolate pudding ingredients ;D @chaz well using tongs to retrieve the steamed goodies tends to self align the the produce as for the binder well it slices better with it on and most people work out that it needs to be removed before eating, heck I even leave egg rings on
