I found a suggested replacement opamp online (www.bettercomputers.com.au), and received my order within 2 days. Now I need to find the Toshiba trannies, and Alps pot (or suitable attenuator). Can anyone suggest a supplier in Melbourne (ideally), or online in Australia (with stock!)?
(Or, does anyone here have spares that they're looking to get rid of?)

The only place that I know of that MAY have actual stock of the Toshiba devices is W.E.S. Components in Sydney. You would need to check with them. I don't know of anywhere in Australia where you can obtain the Alps potentiometer. You could PM Mike to see if he still has any. DIYFidelity in Sydney sells attenuator kits, or assembled for an extra $30 . Their price has now increased to $83 assembled. www.diyfidelity.com.au/product_info.php?cPath=0_33&products_id=32&osCsid=efccc5aec9b830994a420a6e10d7148cAlex
