Merton Instead of flogging something that Mike thought was going to a good home, have you considered the possibility of asking someone at Uni to have a look at it for you? Is your Uni purely for the arts, or does it also have an electronics faculty ? Alex

Apologising "to some degree" must have been very trying for you dear boy. I look forward to your daily bulletins from the mean streets of Dallas. However, I'd be very wary if I were you, of telling strangers about your Dt770s as one can't be entirely certain of the integrity of one's neighbours in Cardboard City.

Thanks for taking the time inbetween weight lifting, creating art and pawning amps. To some degree? that's very big of you Merton, I'm honoured. No word of a job as yet? That's 4 weeks away Colt.... hopefully by that time you'll have managed to sort out some alternative accommodation that has a working, fume free bathroom. (or "alternative" in that the beds are suspended from the ceiling and your fellow cohabs practice zen tantric sex whilst listen to whales mating.....) Good luck.

Miguel, Given Merton's rather unique talents I do hope he doesn't get confused with the postage and send you the wrong parcel.

Mike, do you think the buzz would be an easy fix? I ask because I am truly thinking of purchasing this unit and make it a gift for a friend of mine. Merton, how about $200 including S&H to Miami Beach? (pending Mike's response above) There's every possibility it won't buzz in your surroundings Miguel.... I dunno about "easy fix", there was bugger all wrong with it when it left me.... now it buzzes and has screws missing! Just shows how much Merton appreciates the amp to lose the fekkin screws!

Merton
I can buy this I guess, just need to speak to Mike first.
Do you live in the UK? Can I pay you, and you ship to Mike, and he fixes it, and then ships to me?
some questions
1: Does your V2 'modded' include the real alps pot upgrade? 2: Does it include the ultra fast diodes? 3: The littlie pinkie, is it the v3i version, or the older, very 'hot'? 4: Are you the only owner? 5: What tubes are in it? 6: Did you also upgrade the opamps?
Thanks !!
K
