Do we really need the return of this three piece? Always thought Stewart Copland was a decent enough drummer though.

Yeh, bring it on! Nice tight band. Walkin' on da moon What we "don't" need are Genesis getting back together with bloody Phil Collins on vocals.... oh god no, Peter Gabriel or nothing and only if they do Nursery Cryme, Foxtrot, Selling England by the pound live.

F**king right!!! The Police rock. Reminds me of drunken adolescent parties, where the only records we had was The Police six-pack. Ah, yes, adolescent parties - half a bottle of Smirnoff, 6 tens of Tennents (the ones with the sexy chicks on the back of them), and vomiting copiously down the toilet at the end of the night. Great!!!

There was no party without The Police!
Always liked 'the bed's to big without you'. Extremly nice bass part. Don't have that anymore. There is only a kinda 'best of' in the house. Time to buy them again. I doubt that my Police LPs, if I had access to them, would be worth listening to. I remember them being full of scratches. Warmarks of all that parties with me on the turntables. These abused LPs sounding so horribly on my Revox have been one reason to switch to CDs early.
I saw The Police in the Olympiahalle in Munich. The whole way back to town in the overcrowded U-Bahn (tube/subway/metro) you only heard and screame DEEAAOOHHH... DEEAAOOHHH...
I think it was Eberhard Schoener (Schoeninger? The guy with 'the classic rock night' on TV in Germany)i n Munich anyway who kind of founded the group. He had them playing as studio musicians for him and suggested they would make a nice outfit.

There was no party without The Police! Only a good party if the Police turned up to turn the music down but if you mean the party had Police music playing.... erm a bit MOTR for a party..... Was someone run over by a train or a bomb threat? DEEAAOOHHH! DEEAAOOHHH! I remember this copper nicking me for refusing to pay for a doner kebab many years ago and on the way to the station he asked me if I had a police record.... "yeh, most of them... Deeaaoohhh!!"

I quite like "Trick of the Tail" & "Wind & Wuthering" with Phil on vocals though, Mike. You heard these albums? 'One for the Vine' is a classic.
