If you fancy a trip into the Folk genre - this is a superb (if a little cliche'd) album. Kris has a classic Scottish lilt in his voice, his guitar work is close to brilliant, and the songs are all well executed.
What I find facinating is that I'm left with a real sense that the emotion of his voice is captured beautifully. I'll swear he's got a tear in his eye, or a smile on his face depending on the song. I put this down to the talents of John McClusker, who had a growing rep in the folk scene as a great producer as well as being a briliant fiddle player.
VBG .. worth a listen (folk is not to everyone's tastes I guess).

Hi Sol Would have to agree with you about Black Water . I think it's brilliant. Best tracks for me are Navigatorand Farewell to Fuineray. Also worth listening to his father Ivan Drever.
