Anyone with any experience of Audicom upgrades? Ebay ItemThis is starting to look quite cheap .. though of course I use an external DAC and with my Marantz CD63 KI player .. so: - was wondering if the mods would make much difference to the optical out. The way I read teh mods it's about the digital circuit! - inviting any comments from those who have tried Audicoms products. - at 100 quid, I may consider it in the list of projects that may be fun anyhow!

I have used them for long runs in non critical apps like parties where the CD-Jukebox was within range to control operation feeding back to the main rig which in turn fed the patio speakers PA Horns ) but now with the capability to use a computer (even a laptop ) as the jukebox toslink has no place to be the bandwidth limitations something I can't bear even if I am not sure I can hear them

Oh yeah."Transport" related upgrades I find personally to be of value is to attack to power source-both AC and DC-so everything gets what it needs glitch free.Nothing fancy, just local energy storage caps and decoupling for each power line right at the device being fed for the DC and filtration for the AC section
