just checked , sorry it should be Lt1028, not lt1058, and it' has ln8 below the lt1028 label.

One lot of datasheet I looked at shows LT1058 as a quad op-amp and LT1057 as the dual. As you noticed there is two different pinout types for the dual version, the N8 is compatible with normal duals where as the S8 is arse above tit.

LT1028 is a single I think ;D LM4562 is a dual LME49710 should be the single version of the LM4562

Another thing to note is that even though the LT1028 is old it makes quite a decent I/V op-amp IF implemented correctly, if not it can sound bright. LT1028 and the similar but lower spec OP27 work best with a nulling circuit infront of them if used as I/V for a current output dac
I've no experience with the LT1057 or 58, never heard of those until today

All these op-amps can be bloody confusing not be the first time I've made mistakes when fitting them too ;D Is there any schematics for these zhaolu dacs?

minivan The OPA134 is another single opamp worth trying, but not as quite revealing as the LME49710 SandyK

I've just had a quick look for the D3 and it seems it uses a CS4398 voltage out dac with opa604's as output buffers, they recommend changing those to LT1028's which yours already has. Anyway if your finding it sounding sibilant Sandys recommendation of the OPA134 is a good choice, worth a go too and seeing how you think it compares against the LME49710
Another look around some places sell the D3 with OPA627

minivan Try Digikey. They have in stock both types that you are interested in. I got my LM4562 SOIC and DIP8 versions from them. Alex

Some long ago ordered LME9720s from this guy on Ebay stores.ebay.co.uk/semielectricjust arrived and seriously bettered the Burr-Brown opa2134 in my CD63ki. His price on those well undercut the UK based audiophile suppliers of bits.
