Did you ever wonder, when you see videos of how radically people react when they see an animal being abused, or a woman being attacked by a man, or worse yet see these things in person - that these same people can say they believe in Hell as stated in the major churches, yet they live and carry on as though nothing were coming?
I think that's a classic model of how people "really don't" believe what they claim to believe, or how disconnected people are from the consequences of their beliefs. This isn't necessarily about you, it's about your God-fearing fellow Christian citizens.
I see the same exact thing in the Trump phenomenon - people who think of themselves as "good" will lay down for the likes of Clinton and Podesta (possibly the most evil persons since Vlad Tepes and Hitler), but will express their limp, whiny complaints about Trump (who really does believe in God) and to hell with the consequences.

I can't comment on anything "God" related Dale as I think religion is outdated voodo originally introduced to keep the peasants under the "fear of God" kosh. It's a load of codswallop and ALL religions should be banned and all places of worship should be bulldozed. It's 2017 and none of that garbage is relevant in 2017. Money and greed are the new bible and we all look to people like Donald Trump and want to be "rich and greedy" like him..... dodging tax, groping women, standing on anybody who get in our way to riches and thinking about our own self only.
That's the way of the world these days..... that's what most aspire to. I, quite frankly, don't know ANYBODY who goes to church (apart from priests) these days..... most people are flocking to the American global burger joints / the supermarkets / the major out of town sheds etc. They are the new temples and the sound of the tills going "peep peep peep" is the sound of the new Gods getting richer by the second.
Everything used to be closed in the UK on a Sunday but since the advent of American globalization, everywhere is open for business 24/7/365..... there is no day of rest any more, the tills are powered up 24/7/365 in order to fully satisfy capitalist greed. If Trump, as you reckon, was a true Christian you would think he would shut down his gambling joints (Casinos) on a Sunday wouldn't you? It would give his addicted gamblers a day off to attend church to atone for their sins and have a day of rest from their ungodly gambling habit.
Donald Trump, a Christian you say?
Mark 8:36 (NKJV), "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?"
Luke 12:15 (NKJV), "And He said to them, 'Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.'”
The 10th Commandment
Commandment number ten found in Exodus 20:17 talks about coveting which is the root of many of our problems. What is one of the reasons that people gamble and play the lottery?
They covet money, which they hope to make in a quick and easy way. 1 Timothy 6:10 declares that "the love of money is the root of all evil." Therefore, the enticement of gambling and playing the lottery comes under these texts. But there is more. God has given to each person certain talents, which includes time, money, and influence. God is going to have each person give an account of how their talents were used. If talents are wasted and dissipated, often the indulgent ones are not the only ones who pay the price. Families often must go without basic necessities because of one member's addiction.
Christ says in Matthew 6:21, "where your treasure is there will your heart be also." For those who engage in this traffic, money is the mutilator. In the parable Jesus told of the rich farmer. He condemned him for saying how rich he was and that he would tear down his barns and build larger ones. You recall that the story ends with the man dying that very night. With that in mind, consider to whom the rich man's wealth will go?
Is Gambling a Sin?
A guiding principle to consider is that both one's time and money belong to God. "You are bought with a price" (1 Corinthians 6:20). Consider the parable of the talents where the owner gave one servant five talents, another three and the last got one. The last man hid his talent in the earth. The owner rebuked him. How much sterner might have been the reproof if he had gambled it away? If your time and money were your own, we could say, "gamble all you please, it's your own business." But to gamble with money that is not your own, to waste time that is not your own, makes one nothing less than a thief in God's sight. The Bible adds that thieves will not get to heaven. 1 Corinthians 6:9,10.
Gambling is driven by greed, which God hates. (1 Corinthians 6:9, 10; Ephesians 5:3, 5) Gamblers hope to gain money through the losses of others, but the Bible condemns coveting other people’s possessions.—Exodus 20:17; Romans 7:7; 13:9, 10.
Gamblers often rely on superstitions or luck. However, God views such beliefs as a form of idolatry, which is incompatible with his worship.—Isaiah 65:11.
Gambling can arouse an unhealthy competitive spirit, which is disapproved in the Bible.—Galatians 5:26
Gambling, even for small amounts, can arouse a destructive love of money.—1 Timothy 6:9, 10.
Dale Thorne quote: "Donald Trump really does believe in God"
If so then Donald Trump would have not opened a chain of gambling joints (Casinos)........ Trump may "believe" in God but that means NOTHING..... He is not a practising Christian (whatever the f**k one of them are) he is simply a "believer".
I'm sure that Al Capone and Hitler believed in God but neither of them were practicing Christians so this "he believes in God" bullcrap means NOTHING!
Tony Blair believes in God..... totally f**ked the middle east.
Queen Victoria believed in God...... totally raped and pillaged the world (in the name of God!)
It's the beleivers in "GOD" that tend to piss me off and also the things they do in "Gods name"...... they are the dangerous ones!!!
Anybody who says to me "he's really a great guy, not what you think Mike, he believes in GOD" that is like a red rag to a bull! It means "he's a f**kin' narcissist who thinks he is God"
The reason I question some of Donald Trump's actions? I believe he is a narcissist who thinks he is god...... he believes in God but not the God in the bible..... he is God in his world.
He's quite an ugly looking individual with a very annoying accent, he is a power hungry attention seeking narcissist, he probably has three hookers snort coke out of his fat belly button for breakfast, he is a global JOKE, he is the worst possible person for the job of President of the USA but, hey...... he believes in God.

Here then is your bottom line:
"We all look to people like Donald Trump and want to be "rich and greedy" like him...."
So you condemn totally the religious and spiritual beliefs that our culture grew up on for thousands of years, and advocate for its destruction, and then you position yourself as better informed than all of the great spiritual leaders of those aeons, stating that the man elected by the people of the United States is so narrow-minded with greed that he cannot run the executive branch of the U.S. as well as, well, who? You? Your favorite leader?
I think the sum total of what you believe is about equal to someone who has been living in a cave all of his life, with no more knowledge of world affairs than someone who thinks that the Sun goes around the Earth. If everyone in our countries believed as you do, they would have zero moral restraints, and simply kill everyone "different" from them, and be done with agonizing over all of that "political crap".
I think you need to wake up and realize that the only reason you're still alive is because people like Trump have moral restraint, and serve voters who insist on moral restraint. Otherwise, we would simply take what you have and grind you into dust.

"Mark 8:36 (NKJV), "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?"
If Trump were truly greedy and profit-driven, he NEVER would have ran for president. It's a huge risk of assassination, not to mention having millions of people watching everything you do every minute, and splashing it all over the media. There are a thousand reasons not to do it, and only one reason to do it - fix the problems before the nation goes belly-up.

Last word: Your hatred of Donald Trump is so over the top that there are only these possible explanations:
1) You've been so severely gaslighted by the media, especially the Satanic liberal British media, that you can't think logically.
2) You've simply lost touch with reality.
Trump is not only a great man, but a moral man, who will lead us into our brilliant future, ruling the world - a world full of miscreants who need serious discipline, now.

Last, last, last word: You don't have to hate anyone, just because your life trained you to do so. You don't have to surrender to Big Brother either. Your mind will always be your own, at least until such time as the Intel agencies perfect memory replacement. Until then you're free - as free as can be. And as a free man, you can reject the corrupt political system and join the new revolution to free your brothers and sisters in the white English world, from the forces of darkness who want to destroy us. There is only one leader in the free world at this time who is sworn to protect us from those forces, and that is Donald Trump, or perhaps I should include Nigel Farage and Marine LePen. Viva la revolution!

Nigel Farage won't be invited to the White House anytime soon. He was was critical about Trump deciding to bomb Syria. Funny you suggest that Mike has been "gaslighted by the media" because he isn't a fan of Trump. Nearly everything that makes Trump look stupid has come out of his own mouth.
I join Mike in being what you describe as being "limp and whiny" as I think Trump is the biggest mistake America has ever made in choosing a President. In the same way that I think the Conservative Party is the biggest mistake that the UK has made... and that is from someone who used to vote Tory.

I saw in my dozen days in hotels during the campaign what was happening. Continuous 24/7 Trump bashing by CNN, for example. You can deny the effect of gaslighting, but I can see it here as plainly as day. You can look around at the violence in America today - every bit by Democrats. Trump is the people's choice, but Democrats, liberals etc. - they are fascists at heart - the party of slavery - they "know what's best for the little people". Rejected!!

The anti-wall comments are a great example of ignorance by liberals. The wall HELPS Mexico several ways: 1) Keeps raiders from the U.S. who rip off Mexicans from dashing back across the border to escape Mexican police. 2) Keeps criminal Mexicans from dashing across the border to escape Mexican police. But liberals and Democrats are mentally deficient, and can't grasp the law enforcement need for secure borders.

"But liberals and Democrats are mentally deficient, and can't grasp the law enforcement need for secure borders." Dale - Could I suggest that you read up a bit more on liberal philosophy before making an assumption that liberals are mentally deficient - the center ground of politics is the most complex in terms of balancing all issues including, in particular law enforecement, freedon of speech and personal rights etc - Just because you don't agree with somebody doesn't mean they are less intelligent than you - it usually means you are intollerant. Regarding religion, Politicians who openly refer to it to justify/support their views are usually either lying or incapable of otherwise morally justifying their arguments. Politics should be above religions - I personally like the French principal of Laicite - see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La%C3%AFcit%C3%A9.

You people are mindless slaves. Look no further than the previous administration of Barack Obama, who gave a free $Trillion to the banksters in the Big Bailout. They love Obama, and hate Trump, just like you. Why, because of the free money at taxpayers' expense. But there's more that you don't care about, like Obama's connections to radical hate groups and Communists - he had the head of BLM over to the White House numerous times.
BUT - YOU can't see any of this because you're blind (and probably hateful too).
There is only one explanation for your myopia - brainwashing and Group Think. Do some research before you report back.

Liberals in the U.S., who mainly quote CNN and Huffington Post, and the occasional New York Times fake news article (i.e. some truth wrapped in disinformation), are victims of sophisticated mind control. You People are under the delusion that our military-industrial-corporate economy is somehow going to use its media arm to tell the little people "Truth". Are you crazy? As far back as 1976 the film 'Network' illustrated everything I'm saying. We've been controlled by that complex, overseen by CIA and NSA et al, since the formal beginnings in 1947. Several presidents have warned about it explicitly, and one of those presidents had his head exploded in front of 300 witnesses, because he tried to break them up. I talk about reality, that money doesn't grow on trees, and if you try to interfere with certain "projects" where money is involved, even down to the local level, they will kill you if they have to. Now grow up and cease your absurd nonsense.

TERMINATE THE REPUBLICAN PARTY is the Facebook site group name - that seemed like a great idea, until I looked inside at the utter insanity that prevails there.
If those people, and their associated Facebook groups, had their way in politics, they'd assassinate their own children to get what they want. Fans of Podesta/Hillary would eat their children rather than let them go to waste.
Today's anti-Trump "liberalism" is a serious mental disease, and I'm hoping that we will set up re-education centers in the near future to help people recover from that disease.

I can't stand Nicola Sturgeon, I don't think she's right for Scotland, I don't like her policies. I don't class all of her supporters as "idiots" however.... they are free to choose in what they believe, that's called freedom and democracy I believe?
There's only one fascist here Dale and that appears to be you. Anybody who doesn't agree with your opinion you call them brainwashed idiots / not capable of thinking for themselves.
I too am not going to reply to any more of your posts on this matter as you clearly have your mind made up that donald Trump is the saviour and everybody who disagrees are idiots.
If you actually READ any of my posts you will understand that I like Donald Trump, I don't hate him, but you obviously didn't read them and only homed in on certain parts..... that's known as cherry picking sentences to win an argument, a very shallow way of discussing things and, hey, just what the media (the people YOU hate) do every day.
I hate nobody Dale..... life is too short to waste your time tormenting your mind with hate..... everybody has a good side and I prefer to look for that than "hate" what I can't see.
I have NEVER bought a newspaper in my life / I mute adverts on the TV and I very seldom watch the "news" so you can rest assured that I have not been brainwashed by the "media".
Anyhoo..... enough typing wasted on this already...... I'm not that interested in UK politics, let alone US politics!

If you're willing to fall into that camp of delusional folks who live on other people's money and hard work, then go for it. Enjoy your liberalism. Just realize that the destruction of your country, partly by immigrants, is YOUR fault for indulging modern-day liberalism (true fascism). Don't forget that Mussolini defined fascism as corporatism, which is the platform of the anti-Trump people. All of Trump's opponents, which might include you, supported mergers, monopolies, fractional banking and bailouts, socialized medicine, and a thousand other things bankrupting your country. You KNOW there is no hope in the people who surround you here, but you can't let go. I will remind you of the words of Larry the Liquidator from Other People's Money: "I'm not your BEST friend, I'm your ONLY friend." Think about it.
