A beautiful day up here, reached a max of 24C... clear blue skies, no breeze just warm sunshine.... the next week is going to be thunder storms and rain: www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/gfmmrfsms
Anyhoo, I digress...... I went out into the garden yesterday and found these four lambs sleeping (in the shade) outside my workshop door:
I didn't want to disturb them as I didn't want them pissing and shitting all over my recently fertilized lawn so apologies to the guy in Australia who ordered three pairs of matched valves and the guy in Germany who ordered an X-CAN V3 kit and pair of valves....... those orders were processed today....... yesterday was a case of "containing" the lambs and not allowing them anywhere my lush grass
Will, the farmer, was attending a funeral (unbeknown to me) so I spent the day baby sitting these four lambs... worried that they would make their way onto the main road and get run over etc. When he finally got home (about 4pm) I was like an old woman telling him how concerned I was about them and did my best to keep them in the garden blah blah blah and his response was "they're not stupid, they would have found their own way back home".
He has a herd of about 3,000 sheep but these 4 lambs made their way into my garden....... I quite enjoyed fussing over them, he probably thinks I'm an idiot Two of them loved digestive biscuits and the little white one loved getting its belly tickled......
I ended up with one hell of a tanned head and the lambs were reunited with the rest of the flock..... a good day was had by all
