I was hoping to get the order in for these before trotting off to the UK for a week which is this coming Wednesday. So far I have; Myself x8 boards SandyK x8 boards radius x2 boards BUT you actually need 4, OK with that? Any other takers? Especially those new to these type of builds that don't have any JLHs from previous group buys. Not forgetting, of course, they have great results in the power supplies feeding all sorts of kit. I know of at least one more upcoming project that require these as well . Obviously 20 boards won't help the price much so get in while you can, fill yer boots, grab a stash, stock pile 'em, create a JLH mountain, who knows when there'll be another group buy for these! RSVP...

Regards Alex
P.S. Bill still needs a few mailing addresses for the main PCBs and the LS313 and LS352 dual transistors.

VReg +JLH PCB for SSD etc.
For +5V you can use 110/330, 120/360,130/390 ohms. A heatsink will need to be used/made that doesn't foul the input terminal block. The additional 100nF and 10uF would be mounted underneath the PCB

Hi Alex,
Is there any value for "L"?
Although a little inconvenient for installation you could possibly use a normal heatsink on the LM317 if the connector block was on the underside with taller PCB spacers? Other than that a slight stretching of the design would need to be drawn up if you wished to accommodate the changes into the design.

You could probably use a piece of aluminium for a heatsink. In the case of a SSD, the heatsink wouldn't need to be too big, as the LM317T is rated for >1.5A, and SSD current draw is fairly low (<.5A) and not continuous. Regards Alex

Hi Chris You will be able to use a small heatsink like those used in the SC DAC and Preamp PSUs, simply by turning it around so that it sits higher.

Hi Chris, Can you please add 4 to your order for me. Even on SLA battery supplies that should be very quiet and that I've been using to play around with small and cheap Class D or AB IC-based amps and for supplying my Intel Atom motherboard/laptop HDD-based media player the ripple eaters seem to work some magic. Thanks.. jeffc

OK folks,
Order stands at 20 boards, assuming radius is still with us?
I will place the order in the coming days.

They're here! I ordered blue but received red, oh well, red it is then... I'll send out some emails when I get a moment or 3. If we could get hold of the Gerbers, maybe we could get the place Greg uses to do them another time? If anyone else is interested I did order a few spares (at my own expense).
