Claus, it's going well. I'm reading it via Google Translator but don't reply to anything because I can't get my English reply into Danish. However, glad to see it's going well for you.
Good luck with the iem's.

if you'd bothered to read the damn thing you'd realize there's a Funking silicone option for $100 addition. Well I did a bit later and am now thinking about making my shure E500 into full customs would be 300$ in silicone and My phones are broke in the nozzle so they are pretty useless as they are now, so this could give them a new lease on life.. They also got something called softtip, that sounds interesting, so thanks for the link, but can we concentrate on Spiralear now ??

I got some news about Spiralears.. I got the two universal versions at my home and have been listening to the reference 3 for about 40 hours or so, they are not your regular inears as they are prototypes, so the rub against my outher ear and it hurts like hell, my ears feels like they are burning or someone stabbed me with a knife in my ears..
BUT I still have used them for LOOONG sessions 12-14 hours a day, and I have been thinking about having the operated in my ears, they are sooooo good it is hard to believe, they are on the same level as HD800/T1 and litteraly beats the Shure SE530 into a bloody pulp, they are really really goooooood.. It has been a long time since I have been so exited about phones and I feel like I did way back when I got my first decent pair of phones (DT880)
The only thing that is bothering me is that the reference 3 not even is the topmodel and now I want them instead, which will be a bit hard on the economy, but I really can not see a way out of this that I can live with..
This is just a teaser I am writing on a review so stay tuned, if you are looking for some inears and are not affraid to fork out some serious cash, this is it..

Very interesting, in a way I am glad I am not looking for new iem's. But ... do they have a dealer in the USA? NO! I must resist.

I always thought my SE530`s were pretty damn good, i used them a couple of weeks ago after they had been laid up for at least a year, and still thought these are giving my favourite HP`s good competition. On the basis that your saying that Spiralear`s mid-range model is in a different league SQ wise to the 530`s gets me interested, only problem is, i would have serious reservations about spending the asking price for these in ear phones without a demo first, especially the 4 and 5 driver models. However, i look forward to your full review claus. Mick.

And I wholehearted agree with you throwing that kind of money towards something taht can not be testet or sold seconhand is insane.. But hey very few sane people are into headphones, I know I am not one of them..

And the thought of the perfect fit. Oh man I can't wait. I have tried Westone 3, Fischer Audio DBA-02, Q-jays, and the RE-0 and the ref. 3 walk all over all of them. So I can fully vouch for these.

can any of you compare the SE 2 ways with the jh5's?

can any of you compare the SE 2 ways with the jh5's? Nope - sorry. But I can say that the Se 2 way sounded very good as well. The Ref. 3 was more dark sounding and the signature was a bit like westone 3. The se 2 was more neutral sounding. So for me the logical choice is ref. 3 because thats the signature I like.

Hi!
Im new in this forum and im very interested in spiralear products! im considering 2-way pro and 3 way reference and i really appreciate a comparasion of both. I know that a 3-reference review is near but it will be great to have the same with the 2 way pro, to compare basically.
Any comment about 2 way pro i'll appreciate, really cause is my first choice (money matter) Which universal sounded like it? can it be compared in sound quality to top universals like SM3, Gr8, Shure 530...??
Thanks! and really sorry for my english : /

Your english is nice, no problem I will look into it in the weekend.. Thanks! i think it will be useful cause when you ask to spiralear about the 2-way pro they send you a review of ACS T2... (saying that 2-way would be better... but why? There isn't a real comparison) They need a good review about his products 2 way pro and 3 way reference, i will appreciate it and i think they too hehe

But I have made a post about the differences as I hear them in the 2 way pro and the Reference 3.. For now it is in danish and can be found here hoved-fi.dk/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=131&start=40I will make an english translation later, when I get the time, but hope you will manage with google translate.. Otherwise just have a bit of patience

Thanks for the review!, i have used the translator and i can understand a bit... but in general i think that google hasn't worked hard in a danish-spanish traslator haha
But i get the idea 3-reference >>>>> 2-pro.
Not good for my wallet : P
