Interesting stuff. Based on the posted: *snip.. VA Voltage Capacitor 50 2x25 2200pF 50 25+25 2 x 1100pF 100 2x25 4400pF 100 25+25 2 x 2200pF 250 2x25 11000pF 250 25+25 2 x 5600pF 500 2x25 22000pF 500 25+25 2 x 11000pF ..&paste* and the fact it would be churlish to join that forum just to download the files in the thread , I would guesstimate 1100pf for a 30VA, 2x15v, maybe the next value down? I'll have to see what I can find, and add it after I have got used to the sound of my 'Rock Grottoed' SCHA, and see what suits.

Wilbur A 30VA as used in the SC HA would have an even lower value of capacitor. Preliminary results from Leo, suggest more like 470pf.This is with UF diodes fitted. I am about to fire up mine with 470pf 100V polypropylene. I am using 35nS SF12 diodes, which are a little faster than the UF4002 etc. Alex
