Having used a few of these valves over the years I can say they sound superb on my various X-Can's, X10-D, and Monarchy Audio Model 24 DAC. I really should buy at least 6 plus 6 of the Russian valves.

Excellent for the Indeed G2, nice long lasting valves which were voted "best buy" by Vacuum Tube Valley magazine in their 6DJ8 / 6922 tube shootout. They are the best I have heard in the X-CAN V8, they really inject some balls into the SQ. I am not too keen on them in the V2 / V3 but some people disagree (I prefer the 6H23N-EB in those amps). I have a new 6922 tester on its way and will be able to match these (for a small fee) so will provide full details as soon as the tube imp arrives

Looks like I need a pair of those 'cos my V8 definitely needs balls in comparison to the V2 and V1!! Ian, I have sold a few pairs (from my older batch) to V8 owners and EVERY one of them has reported that the JAN 6922 are a revelation in the V8P.... I can also confirm this to be the case, I fitted them in mine and the improvement in SQ was fantastic.... I no longer have my V8 but you can see it here: rockgrotto.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=q&action=display&thread=5354I will match you up a pair Ian, my tube imp will be here at the end of the week and look forward to playing with it, you will notice quite a big improvement in the V8.... for some reason JAN (joint army / navy) 6922 philips and the V8 are a match made in heaven. Mike.

Great,
Would like to try one in both my G2 and Mirri, two in total, different applications, so presumably no matching required, please let me know the cost.
Thanks Mike.
Mick.

Thanks Mike. It'll get me to start using the V8 again maybe if it had a bit more grunt. I've been spoilt by the 'kick ass' sound of the V2.

Hi Mike, Sorry if I missed it but I can't see any mention of price. Please put me down for a definite ONE with a possible SECOND, depending on price inc. P&P. TIA, Dave.

Chong... look at the post date...
Mike removed his post about the ebay offer and thus the post before that came on top of the pile. Claus is no longer an member. You can still buy the 6922's on ebay though.
I recommend you grab some before they are all gone. Mike seems to have a nose for good tubes.
